welcome to my site. This site presents some information about myself like my resume and a list of projects I have worked at - though in German only.

I have been working in the IT industry since the late nineties. I started as a freelance web developer of smaller database-backed web sites and Java projects. Nowadays I am a full-time employee of an IT-shop for the financial industries. I am mostly involved in the development of web based applications which integrate backend services using SQL, Servlets, Portlets, JSPs, JavaServer Faces, EJBs and Web Services.

In addition to my daytime duties I am also active in some open source communities and the main contributor to the German JSP-Tutorial.

I am a certified Java Programmer and a Sun Certified Java Web Developer as well as an Linux Professional Institute alumni (scans of the certificates can be found in the German section "Zeugnisse" of this site).
